Our nephews came for a visit...

Our three nephews, Caleb (10), Brayden (6), and Andrew (3) joined us for the past few days while their Daddy had heart surgery. We packed a lot of fun into our time together and the greatest news of all is that our brother-in-law, Josh, is recovering and healing from surgery and getting stronger and stronger each day!
Josh should be home from the hospital tomorrow!
The first night the boys arrived, we made homemade pizza's!

Andrew helped make the lemonade!

The next day, our power went out... so we had candle-light craft time!
You can't really tell how dark it was because of the flash on the camera-
but there are candles in the middle of the table that helped us
see our crafts!

The boys were all thrilled to see Uncle Barry come home! (Probably not nearly as glad as I was though! Barry was in Colorado for work the first night the boys arrived!)

Barry helped the boys build a huge fort in our living room! This only lasted until Jack woke from his nap and collapsed the entire thing in under 30 seconds!

We all had a great time at the pool!

Even Audrey got to swim!

We also went to a Summer Festival!
Caleb and Brayden braved the 'scrambler'!

Andrew, Jack, and I opted for the train ride!

The boys all helped wash Uncle Barry's truck!

On Monday, we went to the zoo!
Here, we are checking out the ducks!

There is a dinosaur exhibit at the zoo right now... all of the boys LOVED THIS!

Audrey sweetness....

I have been meaning to upload some new pictures for some time now. These were taken within the last few weeks- and I can't believe how much Audrey is growing! She was 12 lbs last week!
She is such a happy, sweet baby!

My new favorite family photo...

Maria captured this photo and it makes me so happy every time I look at it!

Maria's photo-session

Maria has worked her magic again!
She came to our house last weekend to snap some newborn pictures of Miss. Audrey! Her talent amazes me! If you are in the area (or even if you are not and are willing to travel to the area...) you have to make an appointment with Maria to capture the beauty of your family!
You can contact Maria by visiting her blog:
Thank you so much, Maria. I will forever treasure all of the pictures you have taken!

A blast from 4th of July past...

A huge thank you to my cousin, Shannon (the patriotic cousin on the far left!) for digging this picture up and sending it to all of us! I have so many fond memories of all 4 of us spending 4th of July together!
Each year, we dressed up to participate in our neighborhood parade and here is just one of the many memories I hold so dear to my heart...

We went to a cookout yesterday at Jayson and Tammy's and had a great time!
Jack enjoyed the watermellon!
Here's Ed trying to explain that the red part of the watermellon tastes better than the green part!

A new friend...

Last Friday, our dear friends Brian and Cristina welcomed their new little boy into their family- Edward Alejandro Smith!
We are so happy that he finally arrived and that the whole family is doing great!

We went to the hospital for a visit...

Happy 2 month birthday, Audrey!

We love you so much, Audrey Kay!

I can not even describe what a wonderful addition to our family Audrey is! She is the sweetest, happiest baby and is beginning to coo and smile. There is nothing sweeter to me than the sounds of our babies cooing and laughing.

Rainy Day fun

Last week, it rained every day and we made the most of being stuck inside!
Jack's new favorite spot to read is in Audrey's room while Mommy and Audrey sit at his feet while he reads to us from the rocking chair!
We made a little tent in the living room- Jack had lunch in his tent and we played the afternoon away! It's amazing what a blanket draped over two chairs can do for a little ones imagination!
