Christmas 2008

We had such a wonderful Christmas this year! It was amazing to watch the magic in Jack's eyes as he experienced Christmas for the first time!

Our Christmas was jam-packed and it all began at MaMaw Debbie and PaPaw Jim's house on Christmas eve....

The cousins in their new pj's
(Andrew, Brayden, Jack, and Caleb)

Shana and Molly with the boys!

Jack is unwrapping a new 'walker' from MaMaw Debbie

In this picture, Jack is more interested in the camera than unwrapping!

Christmas morning, we went to Grandma April's and Glen's house

Next, we celebrated Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Luzny's house!

Next, we traveled to Michigan to see Grandpa McNeill and crew-
Jack was exhausted!!!

Jack had fun playing with Gram and Aunt Abbey-

and Grandpa Bob, too!

Abbey's friend, Katie (also known as Jack's godmother!) came to play too!

CHRISTMAS IS COMING....
and we are so excited to enjoy this holiday season as a family!

Our Christmas tree

We picked the perfect tree this year!

Jack helped Mommy and Daddy decorate our tree! He was facinated by the lights and all of our ornaments that hold such wonderful memories!

What a happy little man!
We had to take a break from decorating to have a sip of egg nog!

Happy 9 month birthday!

Okay- I will be honest... Happy 9 month plus nine days! We were traveling for Thanksgiving on November 28th so I may have forgotten to take the actual nine month picture until today with Mr. Jack! :) At any rate... here is our handsome little man!
We love you, Jack!

Let it snow...Let it snow...

The first measurable snow of the year came today! I'm not sure we are quite ready for the snow since our pumpkins are still on the front porch -but-
ready or not...
here comes winter!

Even Jack's pj's today said "Let it snow"! (I know it may be a bit early for 'winter' pj's... but there is no way these pj's are going to fit for much longer!)

Yoder's Halloween Party!

We had a blast at Yoder's Halloween Party- it was an 80's themed party ( in case the leg warmers and blue eye shadow didn't give that away!) Barry was Robert Smith, the lead singer from "The Cure". You can visit The Cure's website to see a picture of Robert Smith: http://www.thecure.com/photos/default.aspx/fid/5042. I was just an 80's chick complete with a beaded shirt and awesome plastic jewlry.
Our friends, Cristina and Brian were Knight Rider and KITT! Their costume was a huge hit at the party!

Ruthie was Punky Bruster! Thank you so much for hosting such a fun party! We love ya!

Brian and Barry jammin' on "Rock Band". Another huge hit of the party!

Pac Man even made an appearance at the party! What a great night!

Jack's first Trick-Or-Treat night

What perfect weather we had for Jack's first Halloween night! All of the neighborhood kiddos came to visit us and were happy to see Jack passing out the candy!

The "Jack"-o-lantern costume didn't last long... we opted for comfy pj's instead!

The longest post ever....

I must begin by apologizing for my inability to post anything since September! This past month has been hectic and jam-packed! For the last two weeks, I had the best of intentions of posting, but our computer was in the shop getting repaired!

Without any further ado... the longest post ever!

This picture was taken on my birthday weekend. Jack was just beginning to "crawl" that weekend. It was a very modified army crawl at that time... but now, he is scooting all over!

Barry and Jack took me out to breakfast at my favorite little restaurant... West End Tavern. I ordered my all time favorite stuffed french toast, and decided that it was so delicious that it must be blog-worthy!

On Sunday evening of my birthday weekend, we decided to make home-made pasta... it was quite the experience!

The dinner was delicious! Chef Barry sure can make pasta! It was a very memorable birthday this year... I feel very blessed to have such a loving family!

We went to an apple orchard, Mapleside Farms. It was a beautiful fall day!

Jack loved the pumpkin patch!

These pictures were taken while we were exploring the metro-parks by our house.

Happy 7 month birthday, Jackson! 9-28-08

Jack is playing with his "Taggy Ball" from Aunt Shana (a new favorite toy!)

Last weekend, we went to a Halloween party for one of the students in my classroom. These are the candy goblins I made... all of the kids loved them!

We took a walk to a nearby Church that had a pumpkin patch.

Last Sunday, we all enjoyed lunch at the metro park!

I promise to update the blog on a much more regular basis! Thank you for being so patient!

Much love!

Exhausted...

Here is one tired little man!
Holding on ever so tightly, Jack finally gave in to sleep in his 'jump-a-roo'!
