6 month birthday!

Today is Jack's 6 month birthday! He was in a very happy mood despite the teething that we think is taking place! He is eating lots of new foods- he tried broccoli tonight- and is enjoying the whole eating experience very much! Jack can barrel-roll now across the entire length of our living room and is beginning to scoot backwards! Look out- Jack is on the move!

YUMMY!

Jack has done a great job with all of the new food he is trying! Yesterday, he tried green beans- and really enjoyed them! He fills every day with so much joy!

I have had a really fun time making Jack's baby food. Yesterday, I made peaches, sweet potatoes, green beans, and pears! I love watching Jack's expressions as he tries food for the first time! How precious!

Another busy and fun weekend!

Jack is excited about the fun weekend that is ahead! He is so, so very close to rolling over from his tummy to his back.... I think today may actually be the day! I am going to try to capture it on video and will post it as soon as I can!

Aunt Carol and Tyler came for a visit on Friday... we had a great time! We went shopping, went out to lunch, and had a nice dinner together on Friday! Thank you for making the trip to Cleveland! We love you! (Oh- and a HUGE 'thank you' for the 'Grandma Bernicke's cookies' you brought us... yummy!)

Brock helped Barry build a work bench this weekend! Thank you, Brock! You are such a great friend!

Jack helped Daddy in the garage, too!

Busy weekend

Melissa and Autumn came for a visit this weekend... and what a wonderful Sunday afternoon we shared together! Melissa and Autumn are friends of mine from Bowling Green Alpha Phi days...it was so nice to visit! Thank you for making the trip to see us!

Jack LOVED the new "Sheepie" that Melissa and Autumn brought for him!
After Jack got tired of being in the Bumbo seat, Sheepie enjoyed it!

I am very happy to announce that my Comprehensive Exams are all finished for my Master's degree! Saturday morning, I took the test while Neeley and Dan took excellent care of Mr. Jack! Thanks, Kluberts- Jack had a great time with you guys!

Barry was in Cincinnati this weekend for Justin and Sara's wedding! Jack and I were so sorry we could not be a part of the big day, but there was no way I could take Comps and make it to Cincinnati in time...we were there in thoughts and prayers, though!

Barry had a great time at the wedding! Justin and Sara are such a happy couple...and we want to wish them the very best in all of the wonderful times ahead!

Jack had his first 'real' food this weekend! Sweet potatoes... Yummy!

After the busy weekend, Daddy and Jack took a little nap outside!
