Thanksgiving!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Happy Thanksgiving, friends and family! We had a busy and wonderful weekend traveling to see all of our loved ones in Napoleon and Michigan! We began with the Spurlock Thanksgiving and made the best Thanksgiving spread ever! Everything was delicious and it was so nice to all be in one room celebrating together! After our Thanksgiving lunch, all three nephews, Caleb~Brayden~Andrew, helped decorate the Spurlock tree!

We got to visit with our friends, The Riebesels, at a Napoleon favorite: Spanglers! Next, we got to visit with my cousin, Shannon and my Aunt Helen! More visiting...next, we got to visit with my Grandma and Grandpa Luzny! What a fun weekend! All of this was on 'Black Friday' after a long morning shopping with my sis-in-law, Shana, and my mother-in law, Deb! We had a blast shopping!

Next, we drove to Michigan to see the McNeill's! We were so excited to help decorate my Dad's tree with my littlest sister, Abbey!

Thanksgiving Feast at school

We had quite the Thanksgiving Feast at school today! All of our students helped to prepare one of the biggest spreads I've ever seen! With a 22 lb. turkey, a huge ham, and many delicious side dishes (including 20 lbs. of mashed potatoes), it really was a feast to remember!
We are excited to travel this weekend to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with family! More pictures are sure to come!
Today is also our 6 month mark for baby Jack! :)

School update

School has been so busy lately and we have done so many fun and exciting things that I wanted to share with you! Above is a picture of Ruthie and I on our fall field trip to an apple orchard! The students loved the hay-ride, learning about pumpkins, home-grown produce, and apple tasting!
For our Halloween party at school, our students had a chance to make wormy-popcorn balls (soooo messy, but so much fun!) and we also enjoyed bone-bread as a snack! All of the students dressed in their Halloween-best and we had a really fun party! I feel very lucky to be teaching at our new school!
