Happy 2 Month Birthday, Jack!

Yesterday was Jack's 2 Month Birthday!!! We can hardly believe that Jack has been in our lives for 2 months already! He is such a happy baby-he has certainly filled our home with pure joy and even more love than we thought possible! He is smiling a lot now and using his little hands to explore the world around him!

This past weekend, we celebrated MaMaw Smith's 75th Birthday. There were 9 great-grandchildren under the age of 9 to help celebrate the special occasion! I am in the process of making a slide show of the weekend's events...hopefully, I will have that posted by tomorrow.

Sleepy baby

Jack is beginning to enjoy sleep! (which in turn makes for a very happy Mommy and Daddy!) Jack is only waking up two or three times during the night to eat now. Also, during the day he is napping- a little bit! Here are some pictures from this past week...

While Jack was hanging out with me on the couch as I worked on a project for my Masters class...he fell asleep resting against his Bobby pillow (from Kristen- thank you!)
Jack likes to hang out with me in his bouncy chair (from Jayson and Tammy- thank you!) in the kitchen as I make dinner. Usually, we sing and laugh together. On this day, my singing must have put Jack to sleep!

Sometimes during the day, Jack likes to sleep in his "pack-and-play". He always sleeps on his back at night, but sometimes during the day, Jack enjoys a tummy time nap!

Hugs and kisses to all!

Big smiles

Daddy sure can make Jack smile!
Today, Daddy and Jack had so much fun laughing and singing together on a rainy Sunday morning on the couch. What a blessing Jack is to our family!

new pictures...

Yesterday, Jack and I spent the afternoon with two of our new friends: Maria and Owen. Maria and I met at a breastfeeding support group and instantly found a lot in common. Owen is her precious little boy and we were lucky to spend some time with them both yesterday.

Maria loves photography and took beautiful pictures of Jack during our "Mommy Play-date"! I am truly in awe of her talent! I feel very lucky to have found such a supportive friend here in Cleveland.

Family Visit

The past two days have been filled with fun for us! Courtney, Abbey, and Katie (Abbey's friend) came for a visit!

Aunt Abbey loved reading to Jack!

We had our first "dinner on the deck" with our visitors! The weather was beautiful and Jack loved being outside!

There is a great park at the end of our street! Both days, we walked to the park and the girls had a blast in the warm weather!

Aunt Abbey and "Adopted God-Mother Katie" (which is a title that the girls created for Katie) loved taking walks with Jack!

"GC" (Another fun title that the girls created-Grandma Courtney) held Jack during our "Dinner on the Deck".

Jack noticed the flying birds on his swing for the first time yesterday! He was thoroughly amused! What a fun-filled visit! We love you, Aunt Abbey, God-Mother Katie, and GC! :)

Visit from Grandpa!

Last night, Grandpa McNeill came to visit! We had a great time visiting and playing with Jack together! We found out that Grandpa McNeill can get the best burps out of little Jack! Dad and I enjoyed a yummy dinner together... I tried a new recipe that I saw on Food Network while I was feeding Jack at 3 am...(Lemon Salmon with veggies)! Thanks for making the trip for dinner, Dad! Jack is one of the luckiest babies in the world to have so many family members that love him so much!

Exciting Saturday

We had a fun-filled Saturday! MaMaw Debbie, Aunt Shana, Cousin Brayden and "Aunt" Margie (who is Deb's cousin) came to Rocky River for a visit. Margie brought Jack so many adorable new outfits...THANK YOU, MARGIE! For lunch, we all went to one of our favorite BBQ restaurants- Hoggy's! Delicious! We love having visitors...A huge thank you to all that have come and all who are coming to visit!

More exciting times: on Saturday night, Barry gave Jack his first bottle! Daddy and Jack both did a wonderful job!
