Happy 4 months, Jack!

Today is Jack's 4 month birthday! He weighs 14 pounds now and he has his 4 month check up next Tuesday. He is laughing out loud now and that is the most beautiful and sincere sound I have ever heard! I can hardly believe how quickly time is flying by...we are trying to embrace and enjoy every minute together!

random thoughts...

I snapped this picture of Jack today and wanted to give everyone an update! Jack now weighs 13 pounds- gaining over a pound a week for the past 2 weeks! He is so happy and healthy! He is diligently trying to roll over every chance he gets now.

We are traveling to Cincinnati this weekend for Javan and Megan's wedding. We are excited to make the trip and be a part of the big day!

Tomorrow, I have an interview for a position that I am so excited about! The job is within Lakewood (my current school district) but the title for the job is 'Vocational Coordinator'. I would get to travel to different job sites and help students with special needs be as successful and as independent as possible. Please cross your fingers and say a little prayer for me... I will keep you all posted!

Barry's 1st "Father's Day!"

We had a wonderful "First Father's Day" together as a family! The day began with a delicious breakfast of strawberry pancakes, eggs, and bacon! YUM! We all had a very restful day and went to the mall in the afternoon. One of the most exciting parts of the day had to be Jack's first bike ride!!! (See pictures. Notice: the shutters and door to our house are no longer PURPLE!!!)

Grandpa McNeill, GG, and Aunt Abbey got Jack this nifty bike trailer! We are so excited that we will be able to take bike rides together as a family...THANK YOU SO MUCH, DAD!

Jack really loved taking his first bike ride! He was so comfortable in his new carrier that he fell asleep on our bike ride!

What a great day!

Tummy Time

Jack enjoyed a book today, while he was on his tummy! Being on his tummy is not exactly Jack's favorite place to be... but today, we tried 'tummy time' on his colorful quilt that our midwife, Pat, made for him. HE LOVED IT! He laughed and smiled the whole time!

Fun weekend with Aunt Abbey!

This past weekend, Jack and I went to visit Aunt Abbey, Grandpa McNeill, and GG Courtney. We had a very nice visit and enjoyed our time in Michigan! Barry got to go to Put-N-Bay for Javan's bachelor party...they had beautiful weather to play golf and enjoy the island!

Abbey loved giving Jack a bottle! (Jack loved it too!)


We got to help Abbey pick out her brand new bike!


On Saturday, we had fun at "Island Fest". Abbey and I got to ride the swings together! We had a blast! If you can't see it in the picture, we all wore our tye-dye shirts to Island Fest... we never did get to take a family portrait though!
