Father's Day weekend 2009

We had such a nice weekend! On Saturday, my friend Maria, came to our house with her family for a photo shoot and a yummy lunch! It was so great for Jack to be able to play with his buddy-Owen! I am so excited to share her amazing pictures with all of you! We took lots of walks in the beautiful weather, watered our garden, and had lots of fun playtime with the kiddos!

Father's Day started with a homemade Eggs Benedict breakfast. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable morning together!

Here is a picture of Mr. Jack- in the bottom drawer of our oven. :) He is so mischievous and learning how to climb and get into everything! But- with a smile like his- how could I do anything but get the camera and take a picture??? ha, ha!

In the afternoon, we went to the in-door pool at our Rec. center. Miss. Audrey dressed the part- but ended up sleeping the entire time we were at the pool so she did not get to dip her toes in the water!

Big Brother wanted to get in on the picture action too! Happy Father's Day to all the Daddy's in our lives!

Sunny day

Our friend, Ruthie, and her puppy-LIMO- came to the park with us today for a picnic lunch! We had a really nice time in the beautiful sunny weather!

Audrey slept through our entire picnic lunch and playtime at the park... but here is a picture of her from this afternoon in a pretty pink dress!

As promised...

Here is a picture from last weekend with my Gram and Audrey! It was truly a beautiful first meeting! We are all very excited about the possiblity of traveling to see Gram and Bob this summer and sharing some of my favorite childhood memories with our children!

Visiting

Last weekend, we have a very busy weekend that was full of travel and visiting.

First we headed to Michigan to see my Dad, Abbey and my Gram.

Jack had so much fun playing with his Aunt Abbey.

Next we traveled to Napoleon to visit with Barry's Grandma.

She loved his soothing deep voice and was so peaceful in her PaPaw's arms!

I got to meet my sweet niece, Mackenzie! :) Look at all of her beautiful hair!

Grandma Luzny organized a wonderful lunch for us hungry travelers! Thank you, Grandma!

We also got to visit with Aunt Helen and Uncle Rich- but no one snapped a picture! I have got to get better at that!

We had plans to visit many more family and friends...and we want to apologize for not being able to fit it all in due to our early departure on Sunday because of an overly-tired and sick 15 month old! Can't wait to see you all again soon!

Running and Alert

Big Brother Jack is now running!

It is so incredibly difficult for me to believe that a month has already flown by since Audrey's birth! It has been a month full of excitement and love! It has been amazing to watch Jack and Audrey grow together and to witness Audrey's personality emerge.

We are all so truly blessed!
